Rosalynn Carter Practiced Tai Chi with a Sword, Says Grandson Jason: ‘She Was a Cool Grandma’ 11/30/2023

This magnificent woman was the longest living First Lady in the history of the USA. The 95 year old also practiced tai chi (with a sword!). She lived a long and giving life while staving off dementia until only the last year of her life.

Always remember that Moorimdew Is not just about physical health, it’s also about mental and spiritual health, something that the former First Lady worked relentlessly to shine a positive light on since her days in the White House in the late 1970s.

Lift each other up and respect one another. The world would be a better place if everyone did this!

Rosalynn Carter Practiced Tai Chi with a Sword, Says Grandson Jason: ‘She Was a Cool Grandma’ While Rosalynn Carter was many things — a former first lady and lauded mental health advocate among them — to Jason Carter, she was first and foremost a grandmother.

Sigh.

Once again, I am tagged in a video where too many people feel comfortable insulting someone based on their body fat percentage.

What SportyBethCF said isn’t even controversial.

*Being* fit and *looking* fit are not the same thing.

Many powerlifters and olympic lifters have high body fat percentages, but their sport requires them to lift X amount of weight. That is their sport.

Many martial artists are not very muscular and can also have high body fat percentages, but they would decimate bodybuilders with no fight experience.

Obviously, this is not to say that NOBODY who practices bodybuilding isn’t also fit. You can absolutely do both.

It’s just worth keeping in mind that chasing aesthetics and chasing fitness are not always the same thing.

And, I am frankly very sick of seeing really good people being insulted on their fitness videos just because they don’t look a certain way.

Because if actual athletes get insulted for the way they look when they exercise, should we be surprised that so many regular people find gyms intimidating environments to be in?

I propose not.

P.S. my best-selling book, ‘Everything Fat Loss’ is currently on sale at Barnes and Noble, Apple, Kobo, Google, and at Amazon with an extra 29% off in Canada. Feel free to grab it before the price goes up.

Always remember that it’s not always about how you look, it’s about how you feel. Never stop moving, never stop laughing, and never, ever stop loving!❤️🙏🏻🙌🏻

This lovely lady is Louise. She danced her way into our dojang bringing her granddaughters to class and decided to join our MoorimDew classes. She already was fit as a fiddle from a lifetime of dancing and nursing, and next month she will be testing for her black belt at the stunningly young age of 82- years-old last week. Happy Birthday, Louise! 🎂🎉🙌🏻

A very special congratulations to MoorimDew’s creator, Ari Moon! She has spent the past two months in South Korea taking exhaustive tests in multiple disciplines to rise from Grand Master to Great Grandmaster. There are less than a handful of women who have achieved this and she was recognized in ceremonies traveling through the country, as well as being inducted into record books.

Such mastery involves more than martial arts; it involves mastering multiple natural health techniques including acupressure, healing therapies, spine alignment, and many other treatments to help students achieve a fuller, healthier lifestyle and healing. Great Grandmaster’s dedication to this end has involved over three decades of intensive study and she looks forward to adding her new abilities to MoorimDew.

Pictured are some of the accolades given to Great Grandmaster during her trip.

Part of MoorimDew’s philosophy is to raise each other up and respect everybody. We all have individual strengths and weaknesses. If we share our strengths and help one another, there is nothing we cannot overcome together.🙌🏻
