⚡️I help you heal your nervous system, break generational cycles & come back home to yourself - mind, body & soul🪷
➔ 𝗗𝗿. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆𝗻, 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙧𝙤 𝙡𝙤𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜…

As a first-generation Asian-Canadian, my upbringing was extremely different from many of my peers, and I struggled to fit in because of my cultural differences and family ideals, so generational wealth felt extremely out of reach. My emotional intelligence was non-existent, my communication skills sucked and my money mindset was horrible. My family did the best with what they had but it wasn’t eno

My client’s nervous system has been stuck in “over-sympathetic” mode for quite some time…

Aka constant fight or flight.
Constant stress.
Constant go go go.

We have been working together using Spinal Energetics to help her nervous system find its way back to safety.

And with each session, she releases more and also gets more in-tune with her body. 🥹

I also love when my clients ask me questions during our sessions because it gives me the chance to actually teach them something.

And when they understand what’s happening in their own body… something shifts.

They leave empowered.

Excited to search for more answers.

They know what to look for.

They know what to do outside of our time together.

And that’s a large part of how I do what I do. When people are empowered in their own healing, they become more independent.

And that’s the ultimate goal.

Learning the difference between your sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system and understanding how yours actually operates is one of the most important things you can do for your health.

Not just physically but emotionally too.

Because you cannot regulate something you don’t understand. 🤷🏻‍♀️

If you want to learn more about your body and want a safe space to start releasing what you’ve been holding onto… DM me and let’s chat 🥰

life update 🙈 (this one’s been shocking people)

I officially left my toxic living situation about 5 days ago… and instead of jumping into another lease… I’m car camping instead (part-time) 😅🚗

Because I have so much traveling coming up over the next few months and then I’ll be in Ottawa for about a month in October… it just didn’t make sense to sign onto another lease and pay rent right now.

I’ve been paying between $2,000-$3,000/month on rent the past 3 years… and the thought of saving that before my student loans end sounds so so good 🤪

So here’s my current plan —> while I’m working in San Diego, I car camp! And the rest of the time, I’m at my aunt & uncle’s place which is 1.5 hrs away!

So instead of doing that 3 hour commute in one day… it’s just easier to sleep in my car near work 🤪

Lo-Lo was kind of like… what the f*** the first few days 💀 but then I started decluttering my car and making it more cozy with string lights, fluffy blankets, ergonomic pillows 😍

and honestly, when I’m sleeping… I can’t tell the difference between my bed in a house or my 4-inch camping mattress in my car 😂

This feels like something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now… and the opportunity presented itself and I’ve honestly been having the best time!

I’ve gotten mixed reactions telling people, mostly stemming from fear and concern, and mostly surprised hearing how excited I am…

And I think the difference is my perspective and the fact that this is an intentional choice I’m making, anddddd the fact that I like to make everything cozy and comfortable hehe

I’m curious… have you ever car camped or slept in your car?

Skipping this week because I just got back from my 2nd to last animal chiropractic module yesterday 🥺… and yo girl’s also hauling ass to pack and move out by the end of the month… 🫠

Sooo content creation might be a little inconsistent/slow over the next few weeks hehe. 🙈

This past module was all about extremities - Shoulders, knees, ankles, elbows, toes, etc. And it was INCREDIBLE.

We learned all about lameness and different problems that can cause it, and most importantly, we learned how to assess and adjust/refer to a vet accordingly!

But it’s also been very bittersweet.

I have been flying out to Wellsville, Kansas every single month for 5 days (since February) to complete this program.

And I won’t be able to finish with my class next month because I will be walking the stage at my graduation ceremony in the Bay Area.

Instead, I’ll be finishing my last module and testing for my international certificate in August with a different class.

Two massive milestones happening at the same time.

And I don’t take that for granted for a single second.

This journey has not been easy. It has been a lot to manage financially. A lot to carry on top of everything else I am studying and working towards right now.

But I have never once questioned whether it was worth it… Because I know what this means.. for the animals I will get to work with… for the people who love those animals… and for the options that will exist because practitioners like us chose to do this work.

I am so grateful. For every module, every flight, every early morning, every person I have been on this journey with 😭♥️

And if you are in the middle of something hard right now but it still lights you up and excites you and fulfills you… please don’t stop. It is worth it. 🫶🏽

Dog moms, horse moms, cat moms, all the animal lovers - follow along. Big things are coming and I cannot wait to share with you 🐾

Eating ergonomics is super important for the health of our doggo’s cervical spine (neck)

Try to make sure their neck
is neutral when eating by changing food bowl height

My foster dog Raven got picked up… and now that I’ve had a couple days to process my grief… I’m okay

So this is a reminder that your emotions will pass if you let them… but don’t let your emotions stop you from doing things that can impact and change lives ♥️
