Inner City Visions Florence-Firestone Covid-19 Community Response

Today, members of South East LA communities gathered together for pan and Cafecito with Senator Lena Gonzalez for a conversation about making change. Members were given the opportunity to voice their concerns, to Senator Gonzalez, over homelessness, data centers, small businesses, disability rights and other areas of sensitivity.

Inner City Visions had the honor of inviting counselor-selected students from Diego Rivera’s high school to speak on rising concerns of public education — from under-resourced classrooms and lack of technology, to teachers being let go due to funding cuts.

Join us this Thursday for a substance abuse parent workshop. This is a 3 session workshop from 5-7pm held at Bethune Park. Session 1 February 12th, session 2 February 26th and the last session on March 5th. There will be raffles and light refreshments. Join all three sessions and receive a certificate of completion.
