Are you EXACTLY where you want to be? Maybe yes, maybe no. Either way, building up your character as a person and professional should be the focus. Accolades and trophies are not much without a servant's heart. So instead, take the time to appreciate YOUR process and identify what you are gaining from all of this. Focus on building that up, and you'll find your way.

We cannot control the perfect timing of making a decision. What we can control is what decision we make today. Yesterday would have been a great time to start, but if you did not take that step yet, do it NOW!

put this into perspective. We spend a lot of time wondering when is the best time to start that project, workout, or activity we always wanted to start. Although finding that that "perfect moment" does require patience and faith, what you do today matters the most. Take a leap of faith and trust that whatever you start today, you can see it through it through.

Mistakes present a unique opportunity that may not have been there otherwise.

put this into perspective. We put 100% of ourselves into our careers, so mistakes can be difficult to accept. Appreciate the mistakes as much as you love the success. Most of the time, they're also a lot smaller than we project them to be. In the end, be critical but also know when to smile.

Statements like "You cannot pursue that" or "Only stick to what you're good at" undermine our confidence to believe in something greater than us.

put this into perspective. Pursuing any career or passion takes much more than just time and support. It takes an unimaginable amount of grit and tenacity that you must find in yourself and appreciate in others.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but this lives true everyday and we all need a reminder.

said it best. Sometimes it is not about just believeing yourself in a singular moment. Repeat this over and over and over again:

Humble intentions + persistence = Confidence.
