I believe that each day we have an opportunity to turn a new leaf but there are times in life where we need to start a new chapter! It’s okay to start over. Start fresh and try doing things differently. You make the rules in your story. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been doing it wrong, you can always start over and do it right.

Sometimes your mind already knows what’s best and you’re just waiting on your heart to catch up. We look at invested time as more important because we think about how far we’ve come with a person. But what if you’re going further down the wrong path by staying? What if you’re continuing to invest in something that is not meant for you? Some seasons there will be more questions than answers. Sometimes choosing the path of least resistance just prolongs the inevitable. Choose you. 🤍

I am a firm believer in “what is for you, is FOR YOU.” If God said it’s yours then it is. You don’t have to force it to happen, you don’t have to rush things. You don’t have to lower your standards or go back on the promises you made to God to get it. What is meant to be, will be, in God’s perfect timing. 🤍

Unpopular opinion: CELIBACY WORKS!

If you have been following me for awhile or have read my book, you know alllll my business when it comes to me ignoring red flags, giving out the cookies to undeserving men, and lowing my standards to “resolve” my singleness. When I took s*x off the table, I not only was able to separate the men who were just around to have a good time, I was able to make room for my now hubby.

The truth is s*x and lust cloud your vision. It is really difficult to know if you TRULY are in love with a person when the 🍆 is distracting you from what God may be trying to show you. Before Caleb, I had encountered ALOT of counterfeits. Men who called themselves men of God but wasn’t no God in them. Lol

I have stayed in bad situations for way too long because the 🍆 was good but the relationship was 🗑. 😂 I can be real with y’all. When I took s*x off the table I realized that it was the only thing keeping me around. I wanted it to work because I liked the way we connected in the bedroom but there is so much more to love.

Allow God to write your love story. Try it His way. Don’t abandon your celibacy when he blesses you with a man! Let Him know that you are STILL putting him first. He will never fail you! 🤍

Don’t let the excuses fool you. If he really wanted to commit, treat you the way you deserve to be treated, marry you, etc, HE WOULD. Sometimes we get so use to the bare minimum that we start to forget that their are people in this world that are able and willing to give us what we need without us having the fight for it or prove that we deserve it. See if his actions match his words sis.

Heavy on the “Thank You God!”. Sometimes we think we know best for our lives when we really don’t. Sometimes what you need more than a boo than or a husband, is a good season of singleness to focus on your relationship with yourself and God!
