During relatively “normal” times, leading through uncertainty is par for the course.

However, what we have been experiencing as a collective is far from the most abnormal normal.

Simply stated: Leadership without limits leads to burnout.

Protecting your peace as a leader is not a luxury, it’s a bonafide job requirement.

What boundary/boundaries can you set today that will keep your light shining bright for the rest of the week?

Honesty isn’t always comfortable, but it’s the soil where trust grows.

Sometimes leadership requires telling the truth out loud.

Other times, it means whispering it to yourself first.

A gentle reminder: movement without alignment is just motion.

This week, lead from a place of clarity, not chaos.

We are living in a moment that demands clarity, care, and courageous action. While the country navigates grief and fury, your team is watching — not just for statements, but for substance.
It is not enough to “monitor the situation.” People are being surveilled, detained, and dehumanized. Communities are protesting ICE raids, military violence, and policies that target the most vulnerable. If you are in a position of power within your organization — in HR, executive leadership, or any role of influence — this is your time to lead with soul.

REMEMBER: Leadership is not about perfection.

It’s the courage to name harm.
To shield your people, not just soothe them. To ensure policies protect the most at risk.

Where you can start:
- Publicly affirm your values.
- Make space for grief and protest.
- Offer flexible time, trauma-informed care, and legal resources.
- Don’t wait for permission to center humanity.

You don’t have to have all the answers. But silence is a choice.

And real leadership moves.

Let yours be a movement of protection, not performance.
