I'm a crow! π¦
I have these wings and black one-piece, and I love bakasana (crow pose), so I thought I'd put them all together.
2nd picture is a perfect blooper Brandon caught of me right before I fell. π I didn't hurt myself and landed on my forearm, but I was afraid of landing on my face.
One of the things I took away from my yoga training in Hawaii was to practice holding my headstands longer to help me with my handstands. This will help me strengthen my shoulder girdle and improve my alignment.
I piked up and held it for about 3 minutes. I didn't touch the wall, but it was nice having it behind me for support in case I fell out of it. I started out lazy in my legs, so I worked on staying active - woo, it's a lot of work! π
This past week in Hawaii, taught us the DΔmodarΔshtakam. Gloria and I thought it would be great to continue practicing it together during Kartik. Because we'll be apart, we'll be streaming and/or posting on social media to stay accountable with each other. You're also welcome to join in with us! We will start on October 31 and end on November 29. βΊοΈ

Today's Day 38 of my Hanuman Chalisa Challenge group, and we learned chaupai (line) 35 out of 40 today. I shared an emotional Chalisa (up to line 34) in class. After class, I felt called to practice singing the whole Chalisa. It feels good to sing the whole song! π₯°
