What I want women to understand is when you’re chasing a certain physique — you’re actually chasing a certain LIFESTYLE.

Until you can change your mindset and habits, no amount of cardio, Pilates, workouts or diets will get you there.

Changing your body, means changing your mind, means changing how you live, means losing people who are threatened by your growth, means being more selfish, means no more people pleasing, means showing up when you don’t want to, means continuing your journey even when results aren’t coming as fast.

It so much more than forcing ourselves through a nonsense 12 week program from some random stranger on the internet. It’s so much more than fake shortcuts and yo-yo dieting. It’s so much more than trying to shrink yourself. It’s so much more than all these stupid “supplements” and powders that do nothing.

Let’s keep it real

As women, we are SO hard on ourselves. It’s not our fault. We live in a society with HIGH physical expectations of us and very little regard for how we’re feeling and functioning.

These expectations bring pain, misery and frustration.

As a coach, I strive to do the opposite to finally give women a space where they can breathe, be imperfect, be vulnerable, be validated and be taught how to love themselves and work on themselves simultaneously.

Getting results (and enjoying them) is so much deeper than forcing ourselves through workouts and avoiding our favourite foods.

Fitness is about healing. Healing makes room for happiness. Happiness bypasses the need for motivation. The consistency needed for results comes much easier when we’re enjoying the process.

We all have areas where we need to use fitness to heal:
~boundaries & priorities
~self worth & confidence
~our relationship with food
~traumas that manifest physically
~how we speak to / treat ourselves
~our need for perfection
~our habits

After 7+ years of being a professional fitness coach who’s worked with hundreds of people I can tell you with 100% confidence you cannot b*lly yourself into a happier, healthier and stronger version of yourself.

Here’s to healing, instead of fixing 💖

It’s not how you look, it not how much you weigh, it’s not your body type, it’s not your genetics.

It’s how you treat yourself and talk to yourself.

You can be miserable as a size 00, a size 1, 2, 4, 6, 10, 16, etc.

However when we start putting our best effort into ourself, and we know we’re living up to our expectations — suddenly all those trivial things we disliked don’t matter as much anymore. Suddenly we’re having more happy good body days than self defeating bad body days.

Living in alignment with who you want to be will serve you much more than constantly being anxious and upset about not following through or giving yourself what you deserve.
