wow! what a wonderful and inspiring movie
if anything in this video landed for you do not ignore that tug. you know thereβs something special that you want to create but sometimes training yourself to get from thought to action is challenging.
you could be missing your mark. and this is not an opportunity to act on fear and start aimlessly spilling everything idea out without a sense of direction, this is a reminder to start placing yourself in routines and in environments where your ideas are pushed out of you.
my classes are for you! Flexibility is an opportunity for you to learn how to approach adversity with grace. Understand how you respond to discomfort. Allow it to be a tool for direction instead of retreat.

if you are already doubting yourself you might as well add that to the list of reasons youβll never get your splits. Your mentality places a big part in your flexibility journey.
Consistency is what keeps people from getting from point A to point B. Donβt be that person.
not enough time in a reel to break this down as much as I would like to but β¦
your body keeps score so while you may feel like you are brushing off bad habits and ignoring something that really bothered you, your body held onto it.
not only did it hold on to it but it created a home. So now the way you move is based on your life experiences. your posture is no longer just a reflection of how much time you sit at the computer but how closed off you became to the world. sitting up tall feels like more work than it has to. all because you refuse to be in your body
thereβs so much more releasing that needs to happen

I took an aerial yoga class the other day and did something similar to this. I was upset to realize once I got home that I couldnβt mimic some of the stretches we did BUT I was wrong. next time Iβll try it without the blocks.
