Working with youth using a flint and knife as a striker to make fire. Our survival fire building workshop begins with these basic skills and builds the participants up to being able to make fire without having tools like a knife, flint, or a lighter. Building a fire without tools isn’t as easy as people make it sound, so we start by teaching the fundamentals and principles of building fire, it’s a little more complicated than rubbing two sticks together.
