Happy weekend my friends 💕 Are you taking some time for YOU?!
Start by keeping it simple! All you need is a few minutes at least once a day to practice the "Perfect Breath"
>> INHALE for 5.5 seconds through the nose
>> EXHALE for 5.5 seconds through the nose
Make sure to sit straight with good posture. You can keep your hands on your stomach to feel it expanding with the inhale, and coming back in with the exhale!

Yes that is right.... the NOSE is for breathing and the MOUTH is for eating!! (and yes, also a breathing back-up if the nose is obstructed)
Why then nose you might ask?!
This is why:
>> The nose filters the incoming air from dust particles, bacteria, viruses and more
>> The nose moisturize and warm up the incoming air before entering the rest of the body
>> The nose forces you to breath slower
>> The nose produce a gas (Nitric Oxide) which has many health benefits, for example making it easier for the body to absorb oxygen
When was the last time you just let yourself BE?! Have you ever identified ways of BEING that supports the life that YOU want to live?
For most of my life I was determined to DO DO DO so that I could HAVE HAVE HAVE all those things that would make me be able to BE all that I wanted my life to BE like. A while back I was challenged to flip this around, starting with just BEING. I identified ways of being that were the foundation of the life that I want to live, and committed to use these ways of BEING to guide me what to DO to be able to HAVE.
This is not as easy as it sounds. It takes WORK and DETERMINATION and I have fallen back into the DOING many times (yip it is often easier to just DO). But that does not allow me to BE, HERE and NOW.
Here is a question for you. Do you have a “bucket list”? When was the last time you did something on this list?
Early this year I committed to being an “Authentic, Courageous and Urgent Leader”, not only in relation to work but also to life. These are ways of BEING that made me DO (plan this surprise birthday for my love). This allowed me to HAVE this amazing experience that has long been on my “bucket list” and to be able to share it with my partner in life.
By identifying ways of BEING that supports the life I want to live, I have been able to make choices in my life that allows me to BE, and to LIVE and appreciate what LIFE brings TODAY, here and NOW.
What are ways of BEING that YOU are committed to living by?

Although everyday is a day to celebrate your "babies", I just want to do a special post for my amazing boys today, my two sons, you are the absolute loves of my life. You can drive me completely crazy but I can also not be more proud and grateful to be your mamma. You two bring so much joy and happiness in your own unique ways, into my life and into this world! It is the International Day of Friendship! 💜
I couldn't be more thankful to have so many amazing friends in my life. I would like to specially recognize my "oldest" friend, someone that I spent most my days with growing up (literary since year 1), someone whom I have traveled the world with and someone that has ALWAYS been these for me no matter what. - I appreciate YOU 💜
Let's all of us take this day to connect with and appreciate the amazing humans that we have in our lives. It is so important that we take time to nurture the relationships in our life.
