I know how hard running a marathon is, but I don’t know how hard running a marathon in the pouring rain is. This woman is a fighter and she did it!

When we woke up at 3am and saw the downpour, I was honestly a bit worried (but of course, I didn’t tell her that). She had no hesitation though. She was determined to do it no matter what.

We went out there with our cheap ponchos in the midst of tens-of-thousands of people and she trudged through it. I paced her the first 10k, but that’s the easier part, bc directly after that she had to climb up Diamond Head volcano. Yeah, how badass is that!

After 20 more grueling miles and having experienced the full range of life’s emotions, she finally completed her marathon. Something’s she’s been training for for a very long time.

I couldn’t be more proud of you ❤️ love you!

Per the recommendations of & I’ve brought back heavy kettlebell swings into the routine. It’s been awhile so my technique needs a little work but it feels good to move weight in an explosive way again. Plus, it’s good for the cardio system when done right.
