⛳️Simple Driver fixes…

The last thing you want with your driver is a downward strike - To fix this, start an address with your feet together. Take a wide step and put your trail hand on your chest - Let your elbow drop until it hits your hip and place your hand back on the club. As you swing, feel your left hip move away from the target. Take one final look where you’re aiming - Then let it fly!

Pronation will help you square your driver face - remember what Hogan said “ I wish I had three right hands” - is this why?
The release elements with driver are more important than path - squaring the face and getting comfortable with the toe passing the heel will help you learn to hit draws. Beginners pay attention!!

⛳️Copy Grant Horvat’s drill…

Grant Horvat has one of the smoothest swings in golf content - So how does he keep that tempo when he actually hits a ball? Watch this drill. A lot of tempo is sequence. And if it’s too fast and it’s out of sync, it’s not going to look good. And I don’t really think there’s a world where we’re better tempo is going to hurt your golf swing. First thing that I worked on as a kid that I think really helped my tempo, was a drill. I would start with my feet together, and my first move would be to move my foot right low and then complete my golf swing. And I feel like this feeling of learning to move into your right shift and to your left and open up - that three part process will really help your tempo.
Here’s another variation of this three part process I use with students. Start from address normally. Use the lead side to step back and land as the arms are still going up and swing through. From there. Boom boom boom!
Pro tip this variation allows you to get into the lead side early so you can push away from the target and impact.

⛳️STOP thinking about the GROUND…

There’s a reason why Tiger Woods and Justin Thomas hit bombs off the tee. It’s how they prime their bodies for speed without help from the ground. Amateurs - Pay attention❗️
The ground is not helping me extend and rotate, the springs in a trampoline help push me, not the ground - Use the powerful muscles in your legs, in your hips, in your core to extend and rotate. The easiest way to feel this is with the dance Move Drill. Let the arms dangle - Lift and turn, Land, Rotate. Extend.

⛳️Miss TW breaking “rules”

Tiger Woods breaks rules… He moves his head, crosses the line at the top of the backswing - Lifts his trail heel early in the downswing - Falls off balance (when flying it 320) and he’s the most dominant golfer of all time.

⛳️Iron vs driver…

The shoulders are level with iron to the driver and look at the lower body extension with driver - Amateurs need to train these moves super slowly to feel these differences - they are a must for improvement.
