👏 Congratulations! 🎊
We are proud to announce the first recipient of our Soldaderas to Amazonas Collegiate Scholarship
Congratulations to Samantha Quintanar, a Senior Nursing student at Boise State University with an outstanding 3.934 GPA.
Samantha is a proud Reina of Utah and serves as the New Member Educator for her cultural sorority, Sigma Lambda Gamma.
She is currently working toward publishing her research in Maternal and Infant Health, examining the effects of breastfeeding on mothers and infants with a focus on maternal mental health, infant outcomes, and the nurse’s role in education and support.
After graduation, Samantha will begin her career as a pediatric nurse and plans to continue her education to become a CRNA.
Samantha embodies the strength, scholarship, and service that define the spirit of Soldaderas to Amazonas. We are honored to support her journey and look forward to the impact she will make in her community and beyond.
