Game day, sports fans!

Looks like Viking fans, with their win over Green Bay last week have started getting mouthy.

Let’s show them why we’re wearing the crown.

A lot of people around the league (some of us Bears fans included) rolled our eyes when head coach Ben Johnson said he wants this year's Chicago Bears to be the highest scoring offense in NFL history.

Today, we took on the Carolina Panthers and put 59 points on the board. The record is 606 points (2013 Denver Broncos). As a numbers guy, that puts us at 9.72% of the way there. 548 points to go to get to 607 points to break the record.

I honestly don't know if we can do it, but it's going to be fun to try. Next week we have a division match up for our home opener against the Vikings who embarrassed the hell out of us last year. Let's see if we can put up 60 points against them too.

(After today, we need to score 34.25 points per game to break the record.)
