I met Salomon Ortega in 2011 when we had our very first youth tournament in 2011. An honest man dedicated to his family and never missed any of his son’s games. In 2015 he suffered a car accident that left him in a coma. Salomon passed away this past Friday June 18, 2021. The family is in need of financial assistance to cover the burial costs. I can’t lie, it was a bit relieved when we closed and I tried leaving in the best way as possible. But after COVID-19 and seeing how much warehouse space is available the curiosity of re-opening in a new location came to mind. 🤔🤔 No promises but only time will tell... Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.

It’s been our pleasure serving the community for the past 8 years by playing the beautiful game. We’ve met a tremendous amount of incredible people that share the same passion for soccer like us that gave this place its identity. An immigrant owned business where economic status, religion, race, color or sexual orientation DID NOT matter. Only requirement was passion to play.

Ha sido un gran placer servir a la comunidad por los últimos 8 años jugando el juego hermoso. Hemos conocido tremenda cantidad de gente que comparten las misma pasion por el fútbol y le dio su identidad a este lugar. Un negocio con dueños inmigrantes donde estatus económico, religión, raza, color u orientación sexual NUNCA IMPORTÓ. El único requisito fue tener passion para jugar.

This has been an incredible journey. Alex and I began this crazy adventure 8.5 years ago. Years later my parents joined after Alex departed. Unfortunately this will be the final week we will be open due to a change of ownership to our building. We truly thank everyone that ever walked in through our doors. Thank you for the friendships we have made and for the experiences we got to live. Thank you to all the soccer players that helped Intaktics survive this long. Please, never stop playing the beautiful game, and remember to always !
