The Frogtown Art Walk is one of our favorite events of all time and this year is its 20th Anniversary!! This one-of-a-kind neighborhood event happens only once every two years and it’s happening this Saturday from 4-10pm!!! The whole neighborhood comes alive with art, music, food, drinks, parties, and community! Meet your neighbors and celebrate the unique neighborhood we all love! You don’t want to miss it! Many, many thanks to Frogtown Arts for organizing this event and for all you do to encourage artistic expression in Elysian Valley!
We’ll have many local artists and crafters, drink specials, and music performed by one of Spoke’s own, the very talented Kurtis and one of his many bands, Neap! The band will be playing ambient ambient jazz to entertain you while you gaze at art, shop, hang out, eat, drink, and meet new friends! Brock Carpenter Kurtis S. Lukas
To keep you hydrated, we’ll have extra ordering stations so we can get you your drinks extra fast and you can spend as much time as possible having fun, not waiting in line! We’ll be serving up all the usual drinks you know and love (including our frozen paloma and frozen painkiller) as well as some special cocktails (think passionfruit margarita with Espalon blanco tequila and Tito’s spiked watermelon lemonade)!
We’ll be featuring an abbreviated food menu to get you fed quickly and hassle free! This means we will be limiting the food menu for this event, but don’t fear, it will still include our Spoke and veggie burgers, the BLAT, our beloved kale caesar salad, as well as most of our snacks and smaller plates (yes, of course waffle fries and chocolate chip cookies, don’t be silly).
This event does get pretty packed, so please be respectful of the neighborhood by riding your bike, walking, or getting a ride to the party (like so many of you already do), by not littering (AS IF any of our beautiful guests would do this), by remembering and honoring the people who built this community, and by being your generally rad selves! We love our neighborhood and are SO happy to be here! Explore the nooks and crannies of Elysian Valley and have a blast!!
