PYRATEZ MC send condolences to Scooter's family, friends and his club, Street Life MC, Los Angeles. Ca.
I met Scooter way back around 2007-08 on the set just being a very neutral guy and joying the scene and the people. Just after 2011 he installed the sound systems on my new Road Glide, Savannah. It is certainly a sad day because he was just a good dude who will be missed.

Rest in Peace, Brothers.
The PYRATEZ MC send the Rare Breed MC our deepest sympathies and most sincere condolences for their loss of three club brothers in the tragic multi-vehicle accident in Southern California. It is difficult to find words or actions that can console the hearts and minds of our friends during times such as this, but we send our strength and thoughts and place our hands on their shoulders in support and comfort.
May our brothers find the strength to deal with this tragedy. Much love and respect to you all.

EXTREME WARNING
Each year, cities, counties and state agencies go out and irresponsibly fill all of the cracks on paved roads with liquid tar. What I mean by irresponsibly, they often use way too much of this liquid tar sealant, which fills the intended cracks and beyond, leaving much of this residue above the crack elevation to be exposed to motorcycles and other vehicles. In the warmer seasons this liquid tar sealant softens and liquifies in hotter temperatures creating a serious hazard for all motorist, especially motorcycles. This method of road repairs is cheaper than repaving because it extends the life of the pavement to resist rain intrusion, which get's underneath the pavement causing lifting and separation of the roads surface.
I recently went on a 10 day motorcycle road trip through 7 states, and I experienced these so called road-snakes in every state. One minute you are riding along fine, the next an immediate slam to the ground or a very problematic drift into oncoming lanes. These road-snakes are no joke and lessor experienced riders need to know about them, as the summer beats down on them making them slick as snot.
I completely get why. agencies use this cheaper method of repair, but what they don't seem to know or care about is how very dangerous this practice of remedy can be deadly. Please share this message and picture, so that more of us riders understand what they are up against.
