Senior night is always a night to remember. Whether it’s a loss or a win, we get to celebrate the seniors. This class will be remembered for their true brotherhood on the field. They kept fighting until the end and brought home another League title and now it’s time to go after the CIF title! Always proud to be on this side of the benches and proud to be part of this Verb family. It’s us versus them!

The boys played a great game today against Cantwell winning 2-0. Both JV and Varsity, will be having games on Wednesday that will most likely determine the league champion. JV plays at 1:30pm and Varsity will play at 3pm. Both games are on our field against St. Monica. We will celebrate Seniors at the end of the Varsity game. Thank you all for your support so far! Hope to see you there one more time for the last league game!

The eagles are looking to finish the season strong! JV has one hand on the league title and with a win or tie on Wednesday 1/31 against St. Monica at home, they will be league champions. Varsity has a tougher schedule with tough games during the final week of league. Wednesday 1/31 will also be senior night! Show up and support our Eagles on their final games of the season.

We are hosting our first of 2 alumni games on Saturday, July 8th at 10am on our field. We will have some old uniforms and gear for sale. The rest of July has our Nicks Kids 7 on 7 hosted Tournament on July 22-23 and also our second Alumni game on Saturday July 29th at 10am. Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces! Enjoy the rest of the 4th of July weekend and see you on campus soon.

Dear team,

I am writing to you all with a heavy heart as we mourn the loss of a beloved parent of one of our Verb Brothers Jose Robles - class of 2022. Losing a loved one is never easy, and it is especially difficult during these trying times when we are already dealing with so much. But in times like these, it is important that we come together as a team to support one another and offer our condolences.

We may not be able to take away the pain or grief that our teammate is feeling, but we can show them that they are not alone. We can lend an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, or simply a kind word to show that we care. Every little bit helps.

Let's take the time to offer our support and come together as a team to mourn the loss of our teammate's parent. Let's honor their memory by being there for one another and remembering the good times that were shared.

To our teammate, we extend our deepest sympathies and want you to know that we are here for you. We are a team, and we will get through this together.

We celebrate and congratulate our seniors to thank them for their hard work! We also celebrate the overall hard work and commitment from all the players, their families and coaches! Thank you all for the continued support of the VDJHS soccer program. We will be looking to getting back to work in the summer. Look for alumni game dates and also for ways to get involved.

You don’t get the highs without the lows. Most importantly, you can’t let the lows define who you really are. It was a tough season but we competed until the end. We turn the page and look to the next chapter but we are grateful for our Seniors!

Verb Family, We are making our first home game of the season a community event. Please stop by if you have time to support our boys and sister school . There will be a food vendor and we will be selling some gear from the previous seasons. If you are a student, bring a can for our food drive and your current student ID and receive a discount with the food vendor at the game.
