I just want to take a moment to recognize the heaviness in my heart over the massacre in Uvalde, Texas yesterday. Hearing about yet another US mass shooting, and this one involving children, permeates my emotional being.
I have a lot to say about it. But here is what Iāll say to you:
If hearing about this awful tragedy has brought you to a place of despair, moving on the mat may deliver some tiny piece of resolve. Allow all of the feelings to arise. They will form a picture of how to move forward.
As a Movement Specialist, my desire to help all of those feelings move through you so that they donāt get stuck in your body.
US Government: we need to have a different conversation.
Remember you can do these moves anytime and anywhere that suits you. Add them into the fold of your day!

I know a lot of people use the word holistic in their branding but itās not always apparent how that is being implemented.
I hear mind-body a lot too. Again, Iām not sure how that is being addressed.
Your mind is always present. Itās hard to turn it off completely. So letās consider it, and recognize the possibilities for change.
