We want to help you achieve your common goals with your supervisor, ensuring you make your voice heard and safeguarding your individual wellness.

Hey everyone! As some of you may remember from last year (or for new postdocs at the last orientation- I mentioned it then!) We are having another 3-Minute Research Blitz Competition! The event is on May 20th (1-5pm) this year. We have some excellent cash prizes (info included below). It's a great opportunity to practice your research pitch- at all stages of your postdoc research. Join us for our next social event! We have a tour of the UCLA Fowler Museum led by Andrew W. Mellon Curatorial Fellow and African Art Historian, Dr. Carlee Forbes. The Fowler Museum is home to UCLA’s non-Western art collection and currently, there are multiple beautiful and interesting collections on exhibition. Join fellow UCLA postdocs for a tour of the museum and some socializing at this beautiful venue on Friday March 18 from 3-5pm.Masks are required.

Come join us for our next Virtual Coffee Hour with our special guest Prof. Saloni Mathur! Dr. Mathur received her PhD. in Cultural Anthropology from the New School for Social Research in New York, and is currently Professor and Chair of the Art History Department at UCLA. Her areas of interest include the visual cultures of modern South Asia and the South Asian diaspora, colonial studies and postcolonial criticism, museum studies in a global frame, and modern and contemporary South Asian art.
