The skate plaza is still closed....

THIS SITE REMAINS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE PURSUANT TO THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES' SAFER AT HOME DIRECTIVES RELATED TO THE CONTAINMENT OF COVID-19.

The City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks’ number one priority is the health, safety, and well-being of everyone in our community. As we actively monitor Coronavirus (COVID-19), all Recreation and Parks facilities and programming will be closed from now till Saturday, April 4th. We may need to extend those dates.

Stoner Recreation Center is on hold as an evacuation center. As of now Westwood and Palisades Recreation Center are open.

Stoner Recreation Center is an evacuation site. If you have small pets, the West LA Animal Shelter is down the street.

Courthouse Skate Plaza at 8am-9:30am then immediately after at Stoner Skatepark at 10am-11:30am. A raffle will follow the cleanup at Stoner. Volunteers wanted! Hope to see you there!

Those of you who've skated Stoner long enough know Alec. He was the lead skatepark advocate to get Stoner built, along with a bunch of help from you locals. He just put out a Birdhouse Skateboards part for his new pro board, some of which was filmed here! Check it out:
