New Year's Race Los Angeles

As we look back on the incredible New Year's Race organized and created by Jive Live Entertainment, it is with a sense of nostalgia and inspiration that we remember all the amazing runners who participated over the years.

Though it has been three years since our last race, the memories of coming together as a community to kick off the new year and bond through the love of running will stay with us always. The friendships formed and the sense of accomplishment and camaraderie experienced during these races have been truly special and will continue to motivate us in all our future endeavors.

To all the runners who were a part of this journey with us, we want to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation. Your passion and dedication have made this race one of the most memorable and meaningful experiences of our lives. Thank you for being a part of something truly special.

WELA YMCA's COVID-19 relief efforts has grown from the initial 250 distribution bags to over 3,000+ bags delivered per week, 20,000 pre-packaged meals served per week, and mobile showers and warm meals for the homeless to help provide relief to the Boyle Heights and surrounding communities!
