***SAND CRAB DROP*** DM me through FB or IG to order. OG 1x-light version, around 1/4oz, 1.25” long. Heavy version, around 1/2oz, 1.25” long. Both versions come with a Decoy snap, SPRO power split ring and a .usa round bend #8 treble. OG XL-A little over 1oz, #5 or #6 hyperwire split ring and a #4 st-66 treble. It can accommodate up to a 3/0 saltwater treble and still float, but a hook that large affects the action. Upsize your treble as your own discretion and fishing conditions. A very limited amount of Pelagic crab colorways are also available. They will come with a 1/0 st-66 treble and a #5 or 6 hyperwire split ring.

Pricing- 1x sand crab $25 each, OG XL sand crab $50 each. Orders not paid for on the 25th will be removed from the system and the opportunity will be given to somebody else.

1x Retrieve tip- Reel in PAINFULLY SLOW after letting it sink. If it'’ too windy or the current is too strong, you can rig it up to a carolina rig with a heavier sinker.

The XL will thump like crazy and when you get closer back to the shore, you will feel it digging into the sand. You can fish the XL as fast or slow as you’d like because of its size and buoyancy. It can accommodate up to a 3/0 saltwater treble and still float, but a hook that large affects the action. You can also put two hooks onto the XL. Upsize your treble(s) at your own discretion and fishing conditions.

New prototype. Back in 2021 I made a jighook prototype that was 1” long. Late last year i was sculpting a new prototype that was much smaller and the new version is 0.75” long. Snack size!

The Samo beast from a few weeks ago. A screenshot from the video footage. You can see the white, unpainted 1x foul hooked on the fish”s head with it being circled in blue. The green circle is the Shovelnose Guitarfish’s entire body. Anybody catch it yet?

I mentioned this previously, but this model(XL) is almost the second version of a previous large sand crab lure I had before a long time ago. This was due to a customer taking 1x sand crabs up to the Bay and specifically targeting Stripers, but he swapped out the number 8 hook for a saltwater hook. He caught several stripers, but he lost a bunch as well. This was just due to the replacement treble that he used. I sculpted and designed the XL to add much more balanced buoyancy. In the above picture, the XL is pictured with an #6 hyper wire split ring and st-66 2/0 treble AND IT STILL FLOATS. Upsize your hooks at your discretion. It will come stock with an st-66 size 4 treble to lessen the chances of getting snagged in kelp or rocks when fishing around any structure on the beach.

Remember this giant sand crab I made years back? That was just a one-off show piece. Swipe left to see the NEW and resized production model. The new model is 3” long, close to 1.5 oz and floating. This has been on my mind since 2020- when a customer caught several nice stripers on his way up to the Bay with the OG 1x. This XL version of the OG sand crab is SPECIFICALLY made for larger fish. It will also come with a size 4 ST-66 treble. I made it out to my old spot in Samo yesterday, walked down and took this footage around the Venice breakwater.
