Defined Personal Fitness Defined Personal Fitness was first started by Russ Suchala in Chicago in 2004 and moved with him to LA in 2005.

So I got a little aggressive w/ my top set, not a big deal. It happens. But what I wanted to point out is my spotter!! Most women won’t spot in this situation because they don’t think they can lift all that weight when the truth is sometimes all we need is just a little help to get the bar up and everyone moves on! Kim has spotted me a few times and this is the first time she really ever needed to “save” me!
After a few months of steady progress .turnbull rip off the first set of five at 135 for the first time. She wasn’t comfortable ringing the bell and calling attention to herself, but she deserves all the congratulations for the hard work and dedication to the gym!! More PR’s to follow!!

From celebrating a PR of 90 lbs to casually ripping triples at 235 my girl has gone from a skinny and boney 12 year old to a strong young woman (still only 15)! So proud of her and her hard work and commitment!
Some like the Father/Daughter dance…we prefer training together!!!
Feeling like 500+ should be a regular thing now! For so long I felt like it was up and down. Feeling pretty confident!!
Been a long time since I pressed 200! Hasn’t really been a focus of my training, but really excited to hit it. Maybe time to put some focus on it to get to 2 plates!! Not too bad for 50+
