~RICHES CANNOT SAVE YOU~

“Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.” — Proverbs 11:4 KJV

The Word of God reminds us that earthly riches cannot rescue a man when he stands before the judgment of God. Money can buy possessions, comfort, and many things in this life, but it cannot purchase forgiveness, salvation, or eternal life.

Jesus said:

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” — Mark 8:36 KJV

The world teaches us to pursue wealth, success, and possessions, but Scripture teaches us to pursue righteousness. Our greatest treasure is not what we have stored on earth, but whether our hearts belong to Christ.

Proverbs 11:4 does not mean that human righteousness earns salvation. Salvation is by God's grace through faith. True righteousness is found in Jesus Christ, and a changed life follows genuine faith in Him.

So do not put your hope in riches. Riches may fail you in the day of wrath, but Christ never fails. Seek Him while He may be found, repent of your sins, and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” — Matthew 6:33 KJV

Your wealth will stay behind when you leave this world—but your soul will stand before God. Make sure your treasure is in Christ.

~THEY HEARD THE WARNING BUT CHOSE TO IGNORE IT~

The Bible warns us that many people will hear the truth but refuse to believe it. 2 Peter 3:3–4 KJV says:

“Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
And saying, Where is the promise of his coming?”

People may mock the coming of Christ, but God’s Word will never fail. In Noah’s day, the people were warned, but they continued living as though judgment would never come. Then the flood came.

Jesus said in Matthew 24:37 KJV:

“But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

The warning has been given. Christ is coming again, and every soul must be ready. Do not let the laughter of the world cause you to ignore the voice of God.

Repent while there is still time. Believe the Gospel. Turn from sin and put your faith in Jesus Christ.

“Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.” — Revelation 3:11 KJV

~Stay Awake and Watch. Look at the signs around you. And you will know the season.~

Jesus Christ warned His people to be spiritually awake. The world may be asleep to the things of God, but believers are commanded to watch.

The Lord said:

“Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.” — Matthew 24:42 KJV

The signs of the last days are increasing—wars, earthquakes, deception, lawlessness, and a world growing cold toward God. These signs are not given to cause fear in the child of God, but to awaken us to holiness, prayer, and readiness.

Jesus also said:

“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” — Luke 21:28 KJV

The wise virgins in Matthew 25 had oil in their lamps when the Bridegroom came. They were prepared. The foolish virgins were not ready and were left outside. The question is not whether Christ is coming—the question is whether we are ready when He comes.

Do not be distracted by the world. Do not let sin, entertainment, or the cares of this life put you to sleep spiritually.

“And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.” — Romans 13:11 KJV

Church, stay awake. Watch. Pray. Keep your lamp burning. The signs are all around us, and the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is drawing near. Repent, walk in holiness, and be ready to meet the King. Amen.
