π€π½π€π½π€π½π€π½Iβm in the pit! Close to the stage! π€π½π€π½π€π½π€π½
**** UPDATE: What an opportunity someone gave me - a free (expensive) ticket to the best part of an Iron Maiden concert (with Megadeth and Anthrax opening) - in the pit right in front of the stage! And - despite being close to 50, I joined the mosh pit multiple times!!!! It was a crazy yet fulfilling experience - very physically intense, aggressive, sometimes violent and exhilarating - and I did great in it!!!! Sure, I was getting bodies slammed into me from left, right, front and back, but I did a lot of it, tooπππ, and it was all in fun and I felt stronger than I had imagined! No way could I have done this with most people I know, but this time, I went with three guys who are used to being in mosh pits, two of whom train in MMA, so I was in great company! Needless to say, the band was spectacular - the level of excellence they still have, 50 years later, is incredible! And Bruce Dickinson is a force of nature! Such an inspiration to me ever since I was a boy - what a talented and charismatic man and singer! I canβt believe I moshed in the pit, and also saw the whole concert up close where I could see their facial expressions without looking at the screens! Iron Maiden was always and will always be my favorite metal band. And Bruce is the ultimate metal/rock singer and frontman! Up the Irons!
