🥋 2026 Crescent Moon Karate Annual Dojo Picnic!

What an incredible day celebrating the people who make Crescent Moon Karate more than a martial arts school—our CMK family and community.

Our annual Dojo Picnic brought together students, parents, instructors, friends, and families for a day of food, fun, laughter, and connection outside the dojo. These moments are an important part of what we believe martial arts should be about: building confidence, developing character, strengthening families, and creating a community where every student feels supported.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the 2026 CMK Dojo Picnic such a memorable event!

If you’re looking for a kids martial arts program in Los Angeles where your child can develop discipline, confidence, leadership, and lifelong friendships, we invite you to experience Crescent Moon Karate.

Confidence isn’t something children are simply born with—it’s something they build. 🥋

Every stance they hold, every technique they practice, and every challenge they overcome teaches them:

“I can do hard things.”

At Crescent Moon Karate, we’re not just teaching martial arts. We’re developing disciplined, confident young leaders who are prepared to stand strong—in the dojo, at school, and throughout life.

Ready to help your child discover what they’re capable of? Send us a DM to schedule their first lesson.

Here's What Happens After Your First Lesson:

Your child walks out with a smile. They're buzzing with energy. They felt challenged but not overwhelmed. They got real attention from an instructor who actually cared about their experience.

That's just the beginning.

Over the next 4-6 weeks, parents tell us they notice:

✓ Better listening at home (fewer "what did I just say?" moments)
✓ More focus on homework and tasks
✓ Increased confidence in new situations
✓ Taking responsibility without being asked
✓ Standing up for what's right
✓ Celebrating their classmates' wins
✓ Actually WANTING to come back

This isn't magic. It's what happens when a child is part of a structured community with clear standards and real mentorship.

The question isn't whether your child will benefit. The question is: Why wait?

Start today with our Starter Package: 3 beginner lessons + 1 private session with a black belt + official CMK t-shirt for just $19.99

No long-term commitment. No pressure. Just real training.

The Six Skills Your Child Develops at Crescent Moon Karate:

🎯 FOCUS
Your child learns to listen, watch, remember, and execute. These aren't just karate skills—they transfer straight to school, homework, and life.

💪 DISCIPLINE

🧠 SELF-CONTROL
When to move, when to listen, when to speak. How to manage energy and emotions under pressure.

⭐ CONFIDENCE
Built through small wins, real challenges, and earned progress. Not empty praise. Real confidence that sticks.

👑 LEADERSHIP
As students grow, they learn to set the example for the kids behind them. They discover they have something to offer.

This is the Black Belt Mindset. This is what separates Crescent Moon Karate from every other karate class.
