Lakers are showing interest in signing Robert Williams III this off season!

Williams is an extremely athletic, imposing Center. He’s a low minute, high impact player who can defend the rim, get up for dunks and would be perfect on the court with a player like Luka.
He’s even stepped out for the occasional 3 pointer this past season shooting 39% on 0.4 attempts per game.

“He’s probably one of the top UFA centers out there. I think he gives you that shot blocker, that rim protector, that guy that can lob threat for Luka Doncic.”

With the Los Angeles Lakers eliminated from the playoffs, they can now focus on the offseason. Lakers need to build up better depth, get some young piece into the depth that can help them be a contender, especially on the offense and defensive side. Go boost up the front court. Bring Reaves back, if you can.... maybe not on the max though. Luka has made it clear to Mark Walters, he doesn't want Reaves gone. Also, its time to move on from LeBron James and build 100% around Luka, while improving that depth. Now if Lebron does return, it needs to be on a significant paycut, but its better still to move on from him. Another thing, would not be a bad idea to keep Rui, especially with the great playoff performance he had. Then, hopefully Marcus Smart stays, very helpful on defense, since he plays very tough on that side.
