I hope this email finds you all well. I would like to update you all on recent announcements made from health and local authorities. Some Counties around the State have open up for "full contact" competition sports. For both adult and youth recreational sports leagues. While following strict protocol / precautions to reduce the risk of spread of COVID-19.

Unfortunately the City of Los Angeles continues to have a high rate of cases to allow adult sports programming to initiate. With it's larger population from other counties which are currently allowed recreational sports activities. We must continue to follow health guidelines and hope to reduce the rate of COVID-19 cases.

We are aware that some independent leagues are trespassing and using local parks fields to host full contact games. Those groups will not be allowed to permit fields once the city lifts all health concerns due to the widespread of COVID-19.

Please find attached the updated "Reopening Protocol for Youth and Adult Recreational Sports Leagues" Keep in mind the City of Los Angeles is currently in the "Purple Tier". In order for our LA Municipal Soccer League to begin. We must be in the "Orange Tier".
