Every year The Plastics Pipe Institute recognizes member companies for success in innovative projects that showcase plastic piping systems with Project of the Year Awards for each division.

This project showcases how ⭐PROVEN⭐ pipe helps rehabilitate aging infrastructure to provide reliable, leak-free, and low-maintenance potable water conveyance that lasts for generations. It also demonstrates how innovative installation techniques can be used to minimize disruption to communities. In this phase of a very large and ongoing rehabilitation project, sliplining was used in conjunction with CompressionFit technology to reduce the outside diameter of a 42" DR11 HDPE pipe to fit it into the aging prestressed concrete pipe to provide a finished product with reduced c-factor and capability of handling up to 200 psi of pressure.

2025 Project of the Year awards will be formally presented at the PPI 2026 Annual Meeting in Bonita Springs, FL next week.

JM Eagle's Chairman & CEO Walter Wang announced Saturday live on Golf Channel that the 2026 JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro tournament purse has been increased to $4.75 million, making it the highest purse on the LPGA Tour outside of the major championships and the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship. This mic drop moment happened during tournament play adding to the already incredible event. Walter and Shirley Wang believe in elevating women athletes, and this is a major way to do it!
