HAPPY FRIDAY MOUNTAIN LOVERS!
Ricardo and I have decided to give this beast one last push until Sept 30th to keep it afloat. We know the community is really going to enjoy this challenge at this location in Sylmar. The park at the start/ finish line has rolling green grass and local folks flock there daily to get their "mountain on."
But, this is an expensive race. We have three permits, EMT, etc etc to keep you safe and I want you to have a great time. I'm not cheap on safety or fun!
Our goal is 150 participants by Sept 30. If we do not hit that number we'll table this race for maybe next year and give back all of participants money.
We are very sorry that the Cleveland National Forest was set ablaze and our local races have been canceled. But, we are resilient and we'll come together and recreate in the mountains. Think of "Whoo Ville when the Grinch tried to take the fun out of Christmas, they came together and rejoiced!... no-one can break us!
