Can anyone provide suggestions for where to park on a Sunday if I'm trying to get to the Racket Doctor? I tried to get by there a couple of Sundays ago but there was a Street Fair or Farmers Market going on, so no parking. I don't mind walking a block or two from a parking space to the store but can anyone point me in the right direction to find street parking if the lot behind the store is full or blocked off?
I have never wrote a review for any place regardless if it was a terrible or awesome experience. What happened the other day at Racket Doctor blew me away and so I thought I would share my story for anyone else that might be wondering if Racket Doctor is a good store to visit. I stopped by on Friday afternoon and traffic was bad getting there so I was late and they were getting ready to close. I couldn't decide which strings I wanted to put on my 2 rackets I dropped off so I asked if I could call in the morning. They said sure and I was on my way. I called Saturday around 11:30 and told a guy which strings and tension to do my rackets and said I would be there in a little bit. I got there around 5 and asked to get my rackets and after looking for a second they were found and not strung. So they tell me they will get them strung up right away and so I said ok. My biggest concern was not getting another parking ticket but I found a meter with 44 minutes left. So I browse through the store and before I knew it they had my rackets strung up. Now here is the best part, I go to the register to pay for them and the manager Jeff says "don't worry about it, I got this, I try to fix my mistakes." WOW, I was blown away. I usually go to Racket Doctor for all my tennis needs and have spent a good amount of money on rackets strings shoes, etc and after this, why would I possibly go anywhere else, unless it's Monday or Tuesday and a tennis emergency. Thank you very much!

Want it to last, but also be very playable. I would like to get an idea of how long it would take you and how much it would cost to do one or all three at one time. Feel free to message me privately.

Poor customer service. Was charged $150 to demo a racket. Used the racket for 1 day and returned it the next day (yesterday, Sunday). They accepted the racket, charged me the $10 demo fee but refused to refund me the $150 and said that it was a "10-day hold" they place on the funds with the bank and that I'd have to wait at the end of the 10 days to receive the funds back. Since they accepted the racket back after only the 1st day, I asked the store representative if she could please return my $150 sooner. It's money that I need and afterall, it doesn't make sense that the store needs to hang onto it longer since they accepted the racket back. She was quite rude and complains that it's Sunday and they're very busy and says she'll have to be on the phone for over an hour with my bank to get the funds back. (meanwhile there are 2 customers in the store and all the other employees have their backs turned, watching the soccer match on tv.) She disappears into the backroom and returns 15 mins later only to tell me that I have to call my bank myself to get the funds back. Seems strange. I call my bank today, on Monday, and they tell me that the $150 was processed as a charge and that they don't see any "hold" on the account. That money was charged from my account and now it's gone. He told me that I'd have to ask the racket shop to process my refund for the $150 in order to get the money back. I try to call them and find out that they're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Now I have to wait until Wednesday to ask them to refund my deposit for the racket that I returned 3 days earlier. Had I known that they don't want to refund your racket deposit until the end of the 10 days (for whatever reason, I don't know) I would never have demo'd the racket in the first place. I'll never come to this shop again because of their poor customer service.
