Meet the team behind the mission. 👷‍♂️

Larry Estrada, Deputy District Counsel for FED, brings more than 30 years of federal service and a wealth of legal expertise to the district. Since joining the Office of Counsel in January 2026, he has expanded his work into contract and procurement law while continuing to draw on a strong background in labor and employment litigation.

For Estrada, the work is about more than legal arguments. “It’s not about arguing,” he said. “It’s about understanding the full picture to determine the right course of action.”

His connection to FED began years before this role through litigation support and temporary duty assignments at Camp Humphreys, where he built lasting relationships with the team.

Outside the office, Estrada has spent more than 40 years as a professional dancer, performing and teaching traditional Mexican folk dance across the United States and internationally.
