After half a decade of developing talented young riders and competing at the highest level of British cycling, the Scott Redding Cycling Team (SRCT) will close its doors at the end of the 2025 season.
Formed to give British riders the opportunity to race against the country’s top UCI teams in The Tour Series, SRCT quickly made its mark. As the Tour Series ended and television coverage of domestic cycling disappeared, so too did much of the financial support that once fuelled the sport.
Despite those challenges, the team went on to achieve major success including winning the 2025 National Series Team and Overall titles, and helping multiple riders progress to professional careers abroad.
Internationally, SRCT earned respect on the European and American circuits, competing in UCI and French elite races, collecting U23 awards, and even travelling to California, where the team won a SoCal Criterium and took a podium on Stage 1 of the Redlands Stage Race.
Co-owner Scott Redding said:
“This has been an incredible journey. We’re proud of everything the team has achieved, from race victories to helping shape the next generation of professional cyclists. Closing the team wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s time to focus on new opportunities and personal ventures.”
Co-owner Adam Ellis added:
“Our vision was always to create a platform for young riders to reach their full potential. In today’s uncertain financial arena, sustaining a team at this level has become increasingly difficult. We’re proud of what we’ve built and grateful to everyone who’s been part of the journey.”
The duo now plan to inspire a new generation of cycling fans in fresh ways; watch the SRCT Instagram page as this new horizon develops.

Please welcome our newest signing, Henry Hunter, joining us from Kendal CC 🔥
We first noticed Henry at the East Cleveland Classic earlier this year. He is a young rider who’s showing some great potential with two top 20’s in Nat A races and was also in the breakaway at Lincoln GP. Henry comes from a Fell running background so has fantastic endurance and will be one to watch on the longer harder races in the future. Helping develop another U23 is something we’re always looking to do as a team so it is great that we have the opportunity to welcome another up and coming talent.
His first race for the team will be at the Fort Vale National Circuit Series but the main aim for Henry currently is to help booster the team in the National Road Series events 💪🏻
