​Here is Jims latest request:
​I submitted a project to cut trees north of Islip Saddle on Wednesday. This will be crosscut since it is in the wilderness. I would like to have at least a couple of certified sawyers. Others may participate depending on the number of certified sawyers. I will send an email when the project is approved.

We love supporting good causes!! is a fundraiser in the form of a 5k race/walk and festival. Additionally, there will be many food vendors and pop-up shops for non-runners to enjoy. The funds generated through this event will go directly towards aiding victims of the recent LA fires.

More specifically, 100% of the profits will be given back to the community through donations to damaged Altadena elementary schools!

Below are some more specifics regarding the event:
- $5 for General Admission
(access to food vendors, music, face painting, yoga, etc.)
- $10 to race/walk for a chance to win $150 from RoadRunner!
(general admission is free for runners)
- Event takes place at Woodley Park on March 29th, from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- 2 races, Race #1 at 8:00 AM and Race #2 at 9:00 AM
- Tickets sold on Eventbrite
