The best part about creating a healthy lifestyle is that you don’t need a break from it. .
Food use to CONSUME me, I would go on vacation and eat everything and anything in sight until I felt physically sick cause I knew once I got home I had to get back to my ‘clean eating ‘
That all or nothing mentality put me on a consistent cycle of restrictions, then binge eating .
I honestly thought I was always going to struggle with food .
It doesn’t have to be that way. You can enjoy a vacation without completely falling of track or putting on 10 pounds / 5 kg
.
It’s about B A L A N C E and creating a lifestyle that is sustainable .
When u am on vacation now, I do my best to make healthy decisions with activity and eating out but that doesn’t always happen, and that’s OKAY.
Be kind to yourself .
