Here’s my take on the 🎥 movie Mea Culpa it was doable , but also in a time where when we watch movies throughout many genres, I’ve found out more in more that those non melanated movies from our past to present has been horrific adaptations (copies) pieced together from certain foreign writings and UK crime thrillers . And it’s regurgitated over in over by the major studios that never give a person of color a blink, from make up , music scores,styling and set designs . So here we are in 2024 looking at a brotha that’s pulled in many ebony folk” to do their writing, storytelling, ideas in set design and behind the lens 🎥 as well as leads in front of the camera .
No it wasn’t a head banger at all 😆and
Was there questions of why they put her in such a contradictory position of the character that we saw in her at the beginning, yes they did😂
But for the sake of seeing her in a movie playing the lead , and the other character being a ebony person . Not Oscar worthy, but neither is (Oppenheimer) which is a story retold in a movie for the 4th time about the first atomic bomb🙄🤧
And when I tell you that story has been told in its entirety too many times about the scientists, the ones smuggled out of Germany to help create the bomb with other USA scientists ect ect all the way down to the moral stresses by those that new they we’re creating something that could destroy mankind, but knew if they didn’t create it first that Hi**er was going to create one and drop it on any and every nation that wouldn’t bow down to N**i Germany, then we had a obligation to create it first and in the shadow of Pearl Harbor , we found the excuse to flex that horror by dropping that bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki . But we’re watching all the hoopla about the atomic bomb movie and Oscar buzz🤧🤧🤧….
So with that being said , thanks TP for still doing the work. Better writing ✍🏾? Sure there’s always room for improvement, have I seen other stories that twisted my head around like what In theeee😮😧, well hell yes I have 🤣 because I’m a movie buff to the 5th power , from foreign to even a lil s**t 🤭,
But I’m all for a brotha and a Sista stepping into the fold , the Black Women being (executive) producer and pushing to put their version out there 🎥✍🏾🎬…

I don’t press any design on my tops, jackets T’s Vest ect. What I do is I create one of a kind designs and I press them on a poly material, cut & trim ✂️ clean, pin 📍 mount and sew 🧵 on to the tops . The art designs will out last the shirt.
I understand the concept of heat transfer & sublimation pressing onto shirts tho ☝🏾 but I just don’t use that process in the manner of direct pressing on the tops . This is my thing when it comes to that. Also any stone or stud is hand pressed into the fabric, not glued 🤷🏾‍♂️
Not knocking that either as I understand that as well , I just choose to apply my embellishments this way.
As I’m ruff on my gear and I wear my own creations and I’m a witness to how they last 💪🏾
