Okay sooooo, we’re being transparent here, right? And you’re holding me accountable, right?
Well, I’ve been stalling with the writing.
I’ve researched. I’ve brainstormed. I’ve outlined. Now I need to write my story. And that story begins with my marriage ending. And that’s just not fun writing 😩.
But i’m gonna do it. This week. I’ll report back!
In the meantime, have a wonderful week!

Its a book outline! 📖 🖊️ 💻
In turning my blog and podcast into a book, I have to start at the beginning. No, not the beginning of my story; the beginning of the writing process.
I’ve covered many topics in discussing my divorce. And I’ve narrowed down and organized those topics in such a way that they read chronologically, but also can be read individually, as needed.
Let the writing begin!

Book mood = peace, intention, elevation, and authenticity ✨
Getting intentional about my book started with a mood board. From my brand colors and typography to the tone and vibe, I feel ready and aligned.
What vibe do you like for your self-help books to have?

Hi friends! 👋🏽 I'm back with an update :)
I know it's been a while. And if you've been on this journey with me for some time, then you know it's been a little bit of a rollercoaster. Let me explain. 🙏🏾
Several months into my separation, I started to hear regularly from friends and family:
"You're handling things so well!"
"You look amazing despite what you’re going through!"
"Can you talk to my friend? She's going through the same thing."
"You should talk to women that are going through a breakup."
And on and on. And I was flattered! Really flattered. Because I made a constant effort to navigate my divorce with grace and authenticity. And I was encouraged to share my story with others and support them through the process. 🤗
So I started a blog. Despite the fact that everyone, and my intuition, told me to write a book. I reasoned that writing the blog would make writing the book even easier. And the blog was well received. So I set out to write the book. But then I reasoned that turning the blog into a podcast would create a built-in readership for the book. So I did that. And it was also well received. 🤩
Then, I turned a new page in my career. I reached a new place in my healing. And I was found by my person. And continuing to tell this story via the blog and podcast no longer feels like something that will help me move forward. I feel emotionally ready to close this chapter of my life. And I've resolved to do this in the medium that the story has begged, for years, to be told in -- a book. 🤓
So. I've already started. And I'm taking you along the journey. You can give feedback. You can hold me accountable. You can move forward with me. 👯♀️
I look forward to it. And hope you'll continue to join me. 🥳
xoxo Lauren

There are a lot of ideas and opinions on how we're to respond to the news that our divorce is final. But really, that's an intensely personal response to have. Here are five ways you can respond - ranging from small to big, and happy to sad.
If you've already responded to your divorce is final, which one did you go with?
