New leadership uniforms have arrived! These uniforms help identify our student leaders on the mat, while they are assisting. Level one leaders wear a blue uniform, level 2 leaders wear a red uniform and our level three, black belt leaders where their black uniform. Each level has different responsibilities and all levels learn what it means to be a leader in and outside the studio.

Mother’s Train Free week is off to a great start! This week, as we lead into Mother’s Day, we honor our mothers who choose to step on the mat and support their children. Moms get a free week of training and the chance to earn their pink belt.

Our new banners are up! After each testing cycle we’ll photograph the 3 students recognized for having the best test for their overall rank category and create new banners to highlight those recipients. The previous banner will go home with the previous recipients, each time we change them out.

Our intermediate students got to practice some trickier breaks. Ball of the foot round kick, turning back kick and more. Testing confidence and technique.

Board breaking workshops are a great test of technique and confidence! in this workshop, we emphasized that today was practice, and this was the place to make mistakes and learn from them.
