After losing the toss, Knights were asked to field first by Spartans Cricket Club. Spartans were off to a good start with the scoreboard reading 60 for 3 in 14 overs. However, once Gaurav was brought into the attack it only took him 3 balls to take the match away from Spartans. Gaurav picked up a hatrick including two LBW's and a clean bowled and ended his spell with figures of 4 for 14.

Later in the second innings, Devender and Faizan carried their form from Corona league having scored a century each for their respective teams earlier in the day. Both openers went all guns blazzing giving knights the perfect start. After the early partnership, there was a collapse in the middle order before Nitin came to the rescue. Nitin played a flawless knock of 25 under pressure to take Knights all the way home.
