I gave up laziness on weekends!! I take 1 to 2 hours to say yes to being uncomfortable.
#sayyes to being uncomfortable and to making each day count with something that doesnโt seem worth doing for whatever reason- make even a self-care moment about feeding your strength, growing your power and facing down your fear and instinct to say no.
Life becomes exciting and filled with passion when you color outside the lines and โlikeโ ๐your own efforts and successes.
Had a rad #run today, wearing the fantastic technical shirt my #longdistancerunner hubby brought me back as a souvenir after HE FINISHED๐ฅ the @marathondessables ๐ฅ
150 Miles of desert, wind storms, sleeping in tents, with only the food on his back and his legs and feet to get him to the end.
After the 5 day race everyone had a one day #charity walk #solidarite โ๏ธ
To my #warrior in life #partnerinlife #rideordie Thank you for the inspiration to make each day count with a quick run in nature, regardless of the #Cali heat!!๐
I have been saying yes everyday to a quick 1 hour run and seizing the day!

Organized a 'Women Who Run by the Sea' retreat to take in the elements that nature gives us to be strong and no phones were allowed only after our two days were done. It is amazing to feel, see, smell, hear and touch upon things that give us joy, strength, personal focus and empower us to obtain goals we set for ourselves.

So today I was craving a healthy filling nosh dish and this is what I found! Thank you for this dip idea.
One addition I made was instead of coconut milk (less fatty)

Still enraptured by my run yesterday and grateful to still have good health, fitness and running in my life. 2015 I was told by a sports orthopedist that my right L4&L5 have a pinch, my right knee is in the early stages of arthritis and 3 toes on my right foot broke and two healed with limited mobility- all of this right side craziness is gives me sporadic right hip pain...
BUT I live by the mantra "I will not live broken in my heart, body or soul", so I trained. In 2018 I did the - and ran approximately 1,280 miles in total last year.
I continue to work in what I love and train others, but I make time for self care and work at staying positive (yes that takes work too). I let go of relationships that were selfish and began to clean 'my house'. I felt happier and not drained and became my own cheer-squad. It's scary but necessary. I care for myself first and somehow like a magnet, what I desire and strive for becomes : the philosopher linked to the study of wrote:
"You have power over your mind - not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength".

Hello my lovely Warriors!!
As you all get set to watch the game and prepare the spread of edibles be sure to make some healthy treats to binge on. Don't deny yourself a stuffed spud, and yes!, have a wing or two with the BBQ sauce- but a nice plate of baked cauliflower with spices and a yogurt dip will keep you full and satisfied too!
If you're traveling drink responsibly, get a designated driver on auto dial or get an Uber or Lyft app and call for a ride; although their prices are raised for the day- still a wise choice.
Now let's go... That LA Team... Rams!!
