Spent yesterday afternoon working with Chad on the BMF Race Cars of Tyler Price and the Longhorn Chassis of Jeff Jackson.

Both cars were great all day.

Tyler is on Penske Racing Shocks by CH Enterprises with the newest valving and the direction we are headed in the future.

Jeff is on a fresh set of Bilstein by CH Enterprises that brought his car to life.

Both were fast and stayed towards the top of the board at the time of each session.

Matt Henderson & Rusty Webb Racing form a plan to transition to a new driver.

(Seymour, TN) Enjoying a 4 year stint as the lone driver of the Rusty Webb Racing 22, Matt Henderson & Rusty have ended the tenure.

Matt and Rusty had their annual conversation at seasons end where they would plan for the next season. This meeting covered new ground as Matt shared his intentions not to be the driver any longer. Rusty and Matt have had a mutual agreement for years to go calendar year to calendar year. Now the team has named a new driver to begin their next season.

“I love the Webb’s and that team. We had so many memories we shared. Hard work, miles, laps, wins. It all came rushing back as we decided to change directions. Rusty and I are fierce competitors that have went head to head at times in our career together. And every time we have come back stronger. The relationship of car owner/driver worked because we had the freedom to be mad when it went bad and to argue and then work together to get our program better. We got so fast at the end of the year last year and I am so encouraged to know the program is better today than it was when I got there. The team is great, with great equipment, and those guys are going to win races this year with their new driver.” -Matt spoke on his time with Rusty.

“Matt will always have a seat here. And is welcome to help us as much as he wants. We had a lot of great times together and will have more in the future.” - Rusty on the departure of Matt Henderson.

The 22 team will have exciting news moving forward with their new plans and new driver.

Matt’s 2026 plans haven’t been announced yet but will be once they’re made available.

With a 4th & 8th place finish we locked ourselves into the feature tonight for $10,000.

We experimented last night, testing for tonight’s feature banking if we could hang on or advance our solid 4th place would get us in the show. Due to that it hurt our points total pushing us back.

We will be marred deeper in the field than we’d like but will be able to move and charge forward.

102 cars on the ground. Will be a dog fight all the way to the end of Saturday nights feature.

Fitted my old reliable ButlerBuilt Professional Seat Systems in a ride for Volusia Speedway Park with Crate Racin' USA.

This BMF Race Cars with an Eagle Racing Engines, Inc. motor, outfitted with nothing other than Penske Racing Shocks belongs to Mr. Reed out of Indiana. I appreciate the Hedgecocks & Mr. Reed for lining this up for me to get some preseason laps under my belt.

2026 plans aren’t finalized for me yet as racing hasn’t been the focus for me with everything else I’m doing and have going on. I’ll try to line those plans out after Volusia and update everyone.

One final wash day of 2025. Had some health stuff this past week that delayed it but got her torn apart and ready for rebuild.

“Off” season.

Solid weekend in the peach state. Qualified fast time in our group. Won our heat. Started 4th. Finished 5th.

Concluding 2025 solidly helped give the needed will power to keep going.

I’m gonna prepare the RWR cars back to race ready status and then we will see what we do from there for the future.

No final plans made moving into next year. It’s a huge financial commitment from the team. Huge time commitment from everyone involved. A ton to weigh out for all of us.

My years are winding down doing this stuff all the time. It’s a brutal undertaking to do it even at the level I do it at, which isn’t as tough as what the national supers are doing.

I appreciate everyone keeping up and supporting me and any team I’ve been a part of.

We aren’t done yet. 2026 prep starts tomorrow. We will decide what we do soon for the races we chase.
