THE 2026 GARY STURGILL FALL CLASSIC

November 6–8, 2026 | Cosner Reserve Sporting Clays
Join us at Cosner Reserve Sporting Clays for the 2026 Gary Sturgill Fall Classic — a full weekend of registered targets, competition, prizes, food, and fun.

FRIDAY — WARM-UP EVENT
Kick off the weekend with a 100-target NSCA-registered warm-up event beginning at 10:00 AM. You pick your start time- This is not squared. Last participant on the course before 1:30pm.

A great opportunity to get some registered targets in and get warmed up for Saturday's Gary Sturgill Fall Classic Main Event.
SATURDAY — GARY STURGILL FALL CLASSIC MAIN EVENT- LUNCH INCLUDED

Saturday features the 100-Target Gary Sturgill Fall Classic Main Event, with a challenging course featuring a mixture of true and report pairs across numerous stations.
PRIZES & AWARDS

The Sporting Clays Association of North Carolina will provide prizes and awards, including cash and products, throughout the Gary Sturgill Fall Classic.
AFTER-LUNCH MAKE-OR-BREAK

Following lunch, we'll hold a Make-or-Break Competition, with additional prizes up for grabs.

SATURDAY AFTERNOON FUN SHOOT
We're planning an approximately 1:30 PM start for an additional fun shoot featuring an all-report-pair format.

SATURDAY NIGHT — BLACKLIGHT SHOOTING (non-registered)

When the sun goes down, the black lights come on!
Our Blacklight Shoot will be open to the public Saturday night. Just show up, shoot under the lights, have some fun, and enjoy Saturday night at Cosner Reserve.

SUNDAY — 100 MORE REGISTERED TARGETS

Sunday brings another 100 NSCA-registered targets, divided into two separate 50-target competitions:
50-Bird Five Stand
50-Bird All-True-Pair Competition
It's a completely different shooting experience from Saturday's Main Event and a great way to close out the Gary Sturgill Fall Classic weekend.
FOOD ALL WEEKEND

A food truck will be on the property throughout the weekend, serving breakfast and lunch and dinner on Staurday. Saturday Main event incldues lunch.

If you're joining us for Saturday night's Blacklight Shoot, we're also planning to have food available into the evening.
