James “KJ” Abrams is from Detroit, Michigan. KJ went to high school in Bessemer, Alabama, and he graduated from Spalding University in 2018 with a Master’s in Business Communication in Organizational Leadership. Currently KJ is the coach for the Middle School Boys basketball team at Kentucky Country Day (KCD). His primary job is at YouthBuild which is the Community Engagement Specialist for SummerWorks, which helps youth ages 16-21 find employment. He also is the Chairman of Spalding University Alumni Leadership Council and Board Member/ Treasurer of Ace Project. KJ is the owner of O & O (One And Only). “A passion of mine is to help develop the youth on and off the court. Give them life tools and opportunities that they can take with them for the rest of their lives.”

For just the third time in program history, and for the first time since the 2016-17 season, Louisville is regionals bound! Earning the #12 seed, the Cardinals will take on #9 Rowan in the ACHA Division II Southeast Regional Tournament 1st Round in Washington, D.C. Game time is currently scheduled for 1:10pm on Friday, February 24th.
