I celebrated my next big milestone as a yoga teacher by teaching yoga in Jamaica! 🇯🇲
With gratefulness to my teacher-extraordinaire, Laurie LeCompte of Yoga Baum Studio, I completed my CYT-300 certification. That means I have a total of 500 hours of learning how to teach diverse topics associated with the ancient holistic practice of yoga. Yoga has been my meditation-in-motion for over 30 years. It keeps me moving while calming my body and mind. It’s been a pleasure and privilege to be able to share my yoga practice with students for the last 7 years. Namaste yall!

Ralph’s last sunset was 10 years ago today. To honor him and feel his presence, I kayaked into the Atlantic this evening to watch the sunset from Marathon Key. Ralph loved open water. The Atlantic Ocean was his happy place. He went to sailing school in Annapolis and took online courses in NC to get his captain’s license. Ralph dreamed big and lived large. If he were alive today, he would either be leading fly-fishing expeditions at a ranch in Montana or sea-fishing charters off the North Carolina coast. I am forever blessed that I got to share life’s adventures with Ralph from the day we met in October, 1974 until his last breath in October, 2012. I still miss him every day, especially by the sea.
