Happy Wednesday, Fit Fam! It's time to celebrate Fern Creek member, Marcia Lawler, who realized that at home workouts weren't her thing and came back to FBBC. Here is her story:

"I joined FBBC in January 2019 when my daughter, Kristin Parks, encouraged me to sign up for The Ultimate Transformation Challenge. She and I attended the 6:30 a.m. class, and after the challenge ended, I was hooked and faithfully attended until gyms were shut down during COVID. I continued the online workouts during this time, however, after a few months of those I had a required surgery and had to pause my membership. I did not return to the gym after a few months off, but I did retain the knowledge about watching my macros and making sure I also got enough protein.

I finally returned to FBBC in November 2023 after missing the group fitness classes and realizing that my at home workouts were not the best fit for me. The coaches and gym friends I have made truly keep me motivated. I just completed my 600th session and hope to continue for many years to come. I initially lost 20 pounds, reduced inches and body fat and I have been able to maintain those results. My overall strength and balance have greatly improved thanks to FBBC."
