Here’s what Kamari has to say about his time here at BoomBox! ⬇️
✨What brought you to Boombox and what do you like about being here?
I came to BoomBox after getting tired of the same gym routine at a normal gym. I wanted to get stronger, but honestly had no clue how to get there. I love that BoomBox pushes me to be stronger and better every day. We seriously have the best people that I know will always be in my corner cheering me on. I couldn’t do it without them!
✨What is something you’ve overcome while at Boombox?
I’ve overcome so much self-doubt since being at BoomBox. My confidence in myself has grown so much, and it has made me stronger every day.
✨What are some of your favorite movements/workouts?
I’ve really grown to love snatches and any workout with cleans in it. My favorite workouts are the ones that mix a solid variety of cardio and lifting.
✨What are some of your goals for the next year here?
My main goal is to stay consistent in the gym. Right now, I’m working hard to master my double-unders, and handstand pushups are next on the list..
✨What do you think other people need to know about Boombox?
Expect to be pushed, but with a huge group cheering you on every step of the way. BoomBox is one big family. I remember being nervous about starting at a new gym and wondering if I’d fit in, but from day one, everyone welcomed me and made me feel like I belong
