The OG blacklight bouldering comp returns to The Spot Boulder with boulders for all skill levels, a live DJ, catered food, and prizes. It’s a comp, but you’re allowed to be here mostly for the party.

🔴 Staff Spotlight: Kale R. 🔦
Kale is a member of the operations team here at Louisville, and has recently started coaching our comp team. He’s coming up on a year of employment at The Spot and we couldn’t be happier having him on our team!

Kale is a veteran climber with lots of experience. “I've been climbing for 9 years. My favorite discipline is sport, although I have specific goals to improve in bouldering and trad climbing on top of sport.”

Kale loves teaching and sharing excitement over climbing, no matter the style or difficulty. “My favorite part of working at The Spot is being able to guide and assist passionate climbers with the pursuit of their goals. I hope that I can consistently be a resource for climbers who share the stoke!”

Kale works mornings and afternoons throughout the week. Make sure to say hi, and congratulate him on one year at The Spot during your next visit!

Come learn how your posture is affecting your climbing and get screened for climbing injuries at the Louisville location on September 23 from 5:30-7:30pm.

A short educational presentation on posture and injury prevention will begin at 5:30 presented by Chiropractor Dr. Moriah Chermak and Physical Therapist Dr. Brian Bremmer, followed by a screening for postural anomalies and climbing injuries.
