I will never forget the first day that I sparred. I couldn’t even make it 30 seconds without getting extremely winded. I went home that day and slept for a good portion of the afternoon. I was so sore the next day. Here I am almost five years later and I couldn’t imagine spending a Saturday morning any other way. I have a long way to go, but I’m so so thankful for this journey.

Hello families. It’s been a while since I posted anything here. I just wanted to let you know that I have added our school back into the churches small group directory. The church has doubled in size over the last year so this means that we may have a lot of new interest families joining our school. This is very exciting. Looking forward to seeing what God has in store for us this year.

Talent will only bring you so far. The only way you get better is by training. Nothing else can replace experience.

Hello families. I wanted to make you aware of a permanent update to our school. Beginning on the third Saturday of every month we will not be holding classes, beginning on June 17. Believers church is holding a small group where we typically occupy the space. We are thankful to Believers for allowing us to occupy the space for over four years and I don’t feel this particular ask is unreasonable. I will be sending out reminders in the group chat for people who attend regularly as a reminder for the next few months until we get used to it. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Hello families. It’s instructor Daniel. I’m jumping in on my Facebook sabbatical because I needed to provide a couple of updates. If you see the updates here and have questions, please message me privately.

I need to update you on a couple of things. First of all there will be no class on January 21st. We're having some work done to our house and I need to be here for that.

The second thing is, beginning next week, we will have an official dismissal time of 8:15 pm on Mondays and Thursdays. I know we had been dismissing unofficially at about 8 pm on Mondays and Thursdays but it seems that an hour is just not quite long enough to get the class time in that we need. If the time change creates an issue for you I completely understand, and we will do our best to make accommodations where we can. Contact me privately, and I will do my best to work with every student. We will be moving forward with that time as of this coming Monday.
